Taiwan prepared for 'direct' and 'effective' tariff talks with U.S.: Premier

Premier Cho Jung-tai (卓榮泰) said Thursday that Taiwan would be prepared for "direct talks" with Washington, after U.S. Donald Trump placed a 90-day hold on sweeping tariffs targeting Taiwanese goods.
