Opposing Taiwan independence will help achieve peace: KMT's Hou

Opposition Kuomintang (KMT) presidential candidate Hou Yu-ih (侯友宜) said Monday he is the only presidential candidate to clearly oppose formal Taiwan independence because he believes doing so will help achieve peace across the Taiwan Strait.
