Opposition Kuomintang (KMT) presidential nominee Hou Yu-ih (侯友宜) said Monday that the Republic of China (ROC) Constitution, "which does not contain the phrase, 'Taiwan Independence'," is the broadest consensus of the Taiwanese people on cross-Strait issues.
