KMT to propose legislation against ractopamine in imported pork

The legislative caucus of the opposition Kuomintang (KMT) said Wednesday that it will introduce a bill aimed at banning the importation of pork containing residues of the livestock drug ractopamine, in a bid to prevent implementation of a recent government decision to allow such imports from the United States.
