Interior minister says Taiping visit unrelated to other issues

Interior Minister Yeh Jiunn-rong (葉俊榮) said late Tuesday he had not informed any country of a visit he made to Taiping Island and that it was not "directly related" to reported pre-arrangements for a possible visit to the South China Sea island by President Tsai Ing-wen (蔡英文).
