Ma puts case to KMT lawmakers, denies conspiracy theories

The ruling Kuomintang's decision to revoke the party membership of Legislative Speaker Wang Jin-pyng resulted from "an accident" that left the party with no choice but to take action, President Ma Ying-jeou said Monday.
