Taiwan, Philippines to launch parallel probe into fisherman's death

Investigators from Taiwan and the Philippines will fly to each other's country Monday to begin a parallel probe into the shooting death of a Taiwanese fisherman by a Philippine maritime patrol, officials in Taipei and Manila said Sunday.
