Taiwan High Speed Rail wants operation period extended to 99 years

Taiwan High Speed Rail Corp. (THSRC) has asked to have its operating period extended from the original 35 years to 99 years to help improve the company's financial situation, the Ministry of Transportation and Communications confirmed Monday.
