Taipei, May 24 (CNA) Taiwanese composer Lim Giong (林強) has won the Cannes Soundtrack Award for his work in director Hou Hsiao-hsien's (侯孝賢) martial arts film "The Assassin" (聶隱娘), ahead of the awards ceremony of the Cannes Film Festival.
