Taiwan has not avoided politics in favor of economics: MAC

The Cabinet-level Mainland Affairs Council (MAC) denied Friday a Chinese official's contention at a cross-Taiwan Strait forum that Taiwan has sidestepped politic issues in favor of economic issues.
