U.S. dollar closes lower on Taipei forex market

Taipei, June 29 (CNA) The U.S. dollar fell against the Taiwan dollar Monday, shedding NT$0.015 to close at the day's low of NT$31.845.

Turnover totaled US$1.994 billion during the trading session.

The greenback opened at NT$31.880, and moved to a high of NT$31.935 before the close.
