Shares of Taiwan-based smartphone vendor HTC Corp. (宏達電) took a beating in Monday morning trade, falling below NT$100 (US$3.25) after its suppliers reportedly cut their 2015 shipment forecast for the flagship HTC One M9 smartphone by 30 percent, dealers said.
