Asustek cuts Q2 shipment targets on softer Windows 8 demand (update)

Asustek Computer Inc. on Monday said it has revised downward its second-quarter forecasts for notebook and tablet computer shipments, because of weaker-than-expected demand for the Windows 8 operating system.
