Taipei, March 23 (CNA) Two NT$10 million (US$331,000) uniform invoice lottery prizes for the November-December period remain unclaimed, the Ministry of Finance (MOF) said Friday, urging the holders of the invoices to claim their prizes before the May 7 deadline.

The two outstanding receipts, issued in November and December last year, both have the winning invoice number 75350343.

The receipts were issued at a FamilyMart convenience store in eastern Taiwan's Taitung County for the purchase of a NT$28 milk tea, and at a CPC gas station in Kaohsiung's Hunei District for NT$90-worth of gasoline.

Furthermore, the MOF noted that there are six outstanding receipts with the number 67035249 that have won NT$2 million prizes but have yet to be claimed.

Given the many unclaimed uniform invoice lottery prizes, MOF officials have recommended repeatedly that consumers take advantage of electronic receipts, which allow consumers holding a winning receipt to be notified directly so there is no fear of missing out on a cash prize.

The winning uniform invoice numbers for January and February of this year will be released March 25.
