Up in smoke: Octogenarian woman throws NT$1m into temple burner

Taipei, Aug. 25 (CNA) Police have recovered about 80 percent of NT$1 million (US$31,616) worth of cash that an 80-year-old woman allegedly threw into a burner set up by a temple in Tamsui for burning joss paper and incense.
