Taipei, May 15 (CNA) Wowprime Group Chairman Steve Day received the most votes as Taiwan's "dream entrepreneur" in an online poll of office workers, the online human resources agency that conducted the poll said Tuesday.

Day, who heads Taiwan's leading restaurant group best known for its Wang Steak brand, was followed by Kenneth Yen, chairman of the Yulon Group, and Morris Chang, chairman of Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co., the 1111 Job Bank said.

With respondents allowed to make more than one choice, 39.55 percent of those polled chose Day as their model entrepreneur, 29.87 percent chose Yen and 26.12 percent chose Chang.

Asked about the qualities that they most admired in these entrepreneurs, 52.99 percent of respondents cited their leadership abilities, 31.34 percent cited their management philosophy, and 29.85 percent mentioned their personal charisma.

Ho Chi-sheng, a PR manager of the online agency, said the entrepreneurs most admired by office workers are those who have good management capabilities and can lead their businesses in optimizing their sustainable development.

The online human resources agency said the survey was conducted between April 27 and May 11. A total of 1,072 valid samples were collected, and the poll had a margin of error of plus or minus 2.99 percentage points.
