Taiwan denies donating NT$1 billion in support of Hong Kong protest

The Presidential Office said Thursday that a rumor circulating on social media about the Taiwan government donating NT$1 billion (US$32 million) to support the recent massive street protests in Hong Kong was "totally fake."
