Cross-strait mutual trust vital to TPP, RCEP bids: KMT candidate

Mutual trust between the two sides of the Taiwan Strait is necessary for Taiwan's bid to gain access to two regional trade blocs -- the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) and the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP) -- Eric Chu (朱立倫), the ruling Kuomintang's (KMT's) presidential candidate, said Sunday.
