Taiwan shares end lower before MSCI index changes take effect

Shares in Taiwan closed lower Tuesday after selling emerged in the late trading session to erode the main board's earlier gains before index adjustments by MSCI Inc. take effect after the market closes, with Taiwan's weighting cut in three of the global index provider's major indexes, dealers said.
