Taiwan shares end lower ahead of TSMC investor conference

Shares in Taiwan fell after early gains to end the session slightly lower on Thursday with investors anxious about an investor conference scheduled by contract chipmaker Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co. (TSMC) after the market closed, dealers said.
