Emerging countries to make up 60% of world's economy in 2026: expert

If the current economic growth pattern continues, emerging countries are set to comprise about 60 percent of the world economy in 2026, while the rest will be represented by the developed economies, a noted Canadian economist said in a speech in Taipei Friday.
