Taiwan firm invests over 50 billion yuan in China

Uni-President Enterprises Corp., one of Taiwan's major food product makers, said Friday that as of the end of June, it had poured a total of 50.7 billion Chinese yuan (US$8.26 billion) in investment into the China market since the company kicked off operations there in 1992.
