
Taipei, Oct. 3 (CNA) Taiwanese boxer Wu Shih-yi (吳詩儀) took a bronze medal in the women's 57-60 kilogram division on Tuesday at the Hangzhou Asian Games.
Wu lost her last-four bout to China's Yang Wenlu (楊文璐) on points but still secured a bronze medal, which was awarded to both losing semifinalists, as well as a spot at the 2024 Paris Olympics.
As of 8 p.m. Monday, Taiwan (competing under the name Chinese Taipei) ranked sixth in the medal table, having won 12 golds, 10 silvers, and 18 bronzes.
