Suicide rate in Taiwan twice as high among males as females

Taiwan recorded 3,546 suicides in 2014, with males outnumbering females by two to one, according to statistics released by the Taiwanese Society of Suicidology Wednesday, on the eve of World Suicide Prevention Day.
