2026 local elections: County, city head candidates

Taipei, Sept. 7 (CNA) Taiwan's local elections, in which voters will select their mayor or county chief, city or county councilor, township mayor and councilor, and ward chief, are scheduled for Nov. 28. Candidates registered for their races from Aug. 31 to Sept. 4. The following is a list of the candidates who will be running for county magistrate and city mayor, along with their profiles.
