Taiwan condemns 'violence' following shooting of Japan's Shinzo Abe

President Tsai Ing-wen (蔡英文) on Friday condemned what she called "violent and illegal" action in response to the shooting of former Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe during a campaign event in western Japan earlier in the day.
