Jaw given go ahead to rejoin the KMT

Opposition Kuomintang (KMT) Chairman Johnny Chiang (江啟臣) on Wednesday said he plans to appoint media personality Jaw Shaw-kong (趙少康) to serve as a member of the party's Central Executive Committee, after the KMT earlier in the day approved Jaw's application to rejoin the party he left nearly three decades ago.
