Wetland for migratory birds

A Eurasian coot, which is a member of the crake bird family similar to the common moorhen, is spotted in an artificial wetland near New Taipei's Dahan River in this recent photo. On Tuesday, the city's High Riverbank Construction Management Office said the wetland has become a popular place to observe migratory birds during Taiwan's cooler months.
