Events in U.S. to mark achievement of Taiwanese writer

The Ministry of Culture's Taiwan Academy in Houston will kick off a series of events in the United States on Thursday to honor Taiwanese writer Chu Tien-wen (朱天文), the winner of the fourth Newman Prize for Chinese Literature.
