Singapore, Nov. 7 (CNA) President Ma Ying-jeou (馬英九) and Chinese counterpart Xi Jinping (習近平) held a historic meeting in Singapore on Saturday at which they agreed that the "1992 consensus" was the most important foundation for the peaceful development of cross-Taiwan Strait relations.
