Taipei, Oct. 15 (CNA) The U.S. dollar fell sharply against the Taiwan dollar Wednesday, shedding NT$0.105 to close at NT$30.656.
Turnover totaled US$1.181 billion during the trading session.
The greenback opened at NT$30.740, and moved between NT$30.563 and NT$30.780 before the close.
