Taiwan central bank hikes 2023 CPI growth forecast to over 2%

Taiwan's central bank on Thursday raised its growth forecast for the 2023 domestic consumer price index (CPI) past its earlier 2 percent alert, citing an increase in food prices and an impending rise in electricity rates.
