Taiwan shares end up but gains capped ahead of U.S. Fed chair speech

Shares in Taiwan closed higher on Friday but gains were capped as investors locked in their earlier profits ahead of a speech set to be made by U.S. Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell later in the day, dealers said.
