Hot weather forecast to stay, with possible afternoon thundershowers

As the hot weather continues in Taiwan, temperatures are expected to soar to 36 degrees Celsius in Taipei on Saturday, while occasional afternoon thundershowers are likely in most parts of the island, according to the Central Weather Bureau.
