Hot, humid weather fostering dengue fever spread in Kaohsiung

Taipei, Sept. 16 (CNA) Due to hot and humid weather in Kaohsiung this summer, an outbreak of dengue fever in the southern city has continued to worsen, accounting for the majority of 2,000 cases reported across the nation, the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) said Tuesday.
