Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport's south runway will be closed Wednesday for an overhaul expected to take nearly one year until early 2015, after which it is expected to be able to accommodate A380 wide-bodied jets, Taoyuan Airport Corp. President Fei Hourng-jiun said Tuesday.
