Vice President Chen Chien-jen (陳建仁) expounded Tuesday on Taiwan's new dementia policy guidelines, saying that the government plans to invest NT$9 billion (US$293 million) to implement a plan to protect the rights of people with dementia and better meet their health-care needs.
