Tsai Ing-wen (蔡英文), the chairwoman and presidential candidate of Taiwan's Democratic Progressive Party's (DPP), on Friday called on Japanese Cabinet officials and parliamentarians, and discussed with them issues concerning regional security, as well as bilateral economic cooperation and food safety.
