Women still earn less than men in Taiwan

Women continue to earn less on average than men in Taiwan. In 2015, female employees earned an average of 14.5 percent less than men in terms of hourly salary, according to a 2017 gender workplace report by the Directorate General of Budget, Accounting and Statistics.
