Institutions team up for specimen digitization

Taiwan Forestry Research Institute recently announced a partnership with Academia Sinica and National Taiwan University on the digitization of their combined collection of 2 million insect and plant specimens. The institute itself has digitally preserved 500,000 of its 1.28 million specimens.
