Taiwanese advice to the West on fighting COVID-19

With the novel coronavirus outbreaks mostly brought under control in Asia, Asians, especially people in Taiwan where the number of confirmed cases have remained low, are watching with shock and concern the large number of cases and deaths in places like the U.S. and Europe, where they had long thought enjoyed advanced medical care, good hygiene and public health awareness. We spoke to Taiwanese people at the Taipei Main Station recently to get a sense of how they see the West’s handling of the pandemic and what suggestions they may have on how to contain the spread of Covid-19.
