ROAD SAFETY/Drivers who injure pedestrians by not yielding to face steeper fines

Drivers who fail to yield to pedestrians and cause injury will face heavier fines, under revised regulations set to take effect on June 30, the Ministry of Transportation and Communications (MOTC) said Thursday.
