Haikui likely to be upgraded to typhoon, bring downpours to Taiwan

Tropical Storm Haikui is expected to bring heavy rains to Taiwan as it passes north of the country later this week, strengthening into a typhoon, the Central Weather Bureau (CWB) said Thursday.
