Ban on capture, sale of spawning crabs comes into force

In an effort to maintain sustainable marine ecology and fishery resources, offshore fishing vessels are not allowed to catch certain spawning crabs during their breeding season from Aug. 1 to Dec. 31 in Taiwan.
