The weather in northern Taiwan will turn cool and rainy during the day, with highs of 23-24 degrees expected in areas from Taoyuan northward and in Yilan and 26-27 degrees in Hsinchu, Miaoli, Hualien and Taitung counties, CWB forecaster Chu Mei-ling (朱美霖) said.
