Taipei, Nov. 14 (CNA) Visiting Saint Kitts and Nevis Prime Minister Terrance Drew pledged to continue advocating for Taiwan's meaningful participation in international organizations, during a meeting with President Lai Ching-te (賴清德) Friday.
At the Presidential Office in Taipei, Drew said that Taiwan and his country shared values such as democracy, dignity and perseverance.
Drew added that he would continue advocating for Taiwan's meaningful participation in international organizations, including the World Health Organization.

Lai, meanwhile, thanked Drew for his remarks at the United Nations General Assembly this year, including urging the international community to support Taiwan's engagement and underscoring the importance of stability across the Taiwan Strait.
Friday's meeting came one day after the arrival of the Saint Kitts and Nevis delegation led by Drew, which includes Foreign Minister Denzil Douglas and Ambassador-at-large Leon Natta-Nelson.
Also present at the meeting were Taiwan's Foreign Minister Lin Chia-lung (林佳龍), Taiwan's ambassador to Saint Kitts and Nevis Edward Tao (陶令文), and Donya L. Francis, Saint Kitts and Nevis' ambassador to Taiwan.
The visit will conclude on Monday.
