Taipei, March 15 (CNA) Vice President Lai Ching-te (賴清德) said Wednesday he would strive to ensure Taiwan's security in the face of increasing Chinese threats, shortly after registering to run in the Democratic Progressive Party's (DPP) presidential primary.
