The first cabinet-level official from the United States to visit Taiwan since 2014, Secretary of Health and Human Services (HHS) Alex Azar, arrived in Taipei on Aug. 9 and met with President Tsai Ing-wen (蔡英文), as well as other senior officials in the government during the trip.
