White House urges Beijing to end coercion and talk with Taipei

A senior White House official on Monday called on China to stop its coercion of Taiwan and resume dialogue with Taiwan's government after Chinese President Xi Jinping (習近平) recently reasserted China's right to use force against Taiwan.
