President Tsai Ing-wen (蔡英文) expressed hopes that the relations between Taiwan and Honduras will be further strengthened and that the free trade pact between the two nations, which took effect in 2008, will contribute in a maximum manner to the development of the bilateral trade and economic cooperation, creating a win-win situation for the two sides.
